The 2005 Darwin Awards are out. Is it just me or does it seem like we're getting better at this Darwin Awards, as a species I mean? All of this year's awards are pretty tame compared to others we've had in the past. Maybe there really is something to this selection bit.

Or maybe it's just all so much Intelligent Design.

This is a darn cool website. Ajax is probably the hottest technology for web design currently, allowing for things like Google Maps and this translator. Pretty cool stuff for geeks like me.

So apparently, I've moved up in the Ecosystem( Thanks Fluttergirl! ) to a Crawly Amphibian which was my goal. Of course, I think that the Ecosystem is still flawed since I know of other people (Thanks Tiny Epiphanies!) link to me but are unaccounted for.

I'm not sure how to fix the flaws but it seems to me that it would be important to ensure that all incoming links were accounted for as well as take into account readership in some manner, though this is harder to track I would assume. That would be an interesting exercise, coming up with a different ranking system, one that incorporated several factors in determining the popularity of a blog. Hmmm, I'll have to mull that one over.
