Todd Hamilton just won The Open in a four hole playoff over Ernie Els and is named Champion Golfer of the Year. It's a great moment, similar to Ben Curtis' win last year, the underdog coming through under great pressure, making an amazing third shot on the home hole to basically win it. But you also have to feel for Ernie, truly one of the gentlemen on the tour, who comes in second for the second time this year in a major and who has played magnificently in all three majors. I'm rooting for him to win the PGA and overtake Tiger in the world rankings.
